This is a movie about quartined blind prisoners. They are locked in a building containing three wards. There are no sight capable people to help them except for a man’s wife, Julie Ann Moore.I actually had to stop watching this movie at one point. I became so uneasy as the third ward, full of tough men with a gun, ask for the other ward’s women in exchanged for food. It was unsettling to wait for volunters, knowing that other men’s wives must volunteer to eat. I always become almost queasy when women are in situations like this, it must be the lover in me.The unsanitary conditions in the movie were driving me crazy as well. Imagine a room of blind people with no guidance for shitting, eating or cleaning. People were dragging their feet through feces and leaving their food containers scattered throughout the cafeteria.I think i’ll try and watch the rest now :)
